The Taylor family have been dairy farming at Glastry since 1856. Today the premium milk from the pedigree dairy herd is used to produce the rich and creamy ice cream fresh every day in their modern processing plant.
There are 12 flavours of ice cream produced incorporating produce from the local area. These include Yellowman Honeycomb, Rhubard and Custard, Berry Berry Blueberry and Kilbeggan Irish Whiskey. The ice cream has been used at the Royal Garden Parties in 2008 and 2009 as well as this we supplied the award winning chef, Niall McKenna, Great British Menu 2010 Gala Banquet with our Lavender ice cream. Our ice cream is also available in many of the country’s leading restaurants and many of the top chefs love to work closely with our team in producing inspired desserts, ice creams and sorbets.
